Copilot Studio Action ALM
Tried to “Parvez” an Agent Action across environments like a reusable Power Fx function...
Copilot Studio said:
“That’s cute.”
Then refused.
Here’s the sticky wicket (translation for North Americans: a tech migraine wrapped in cricket slang):
In Copilot Studio, Actions are loyally married to their agent.
No prenup. No open relationship. No visiting rights.
If the agent isn’t in the solution, neither is the action.
You can’t share Actions across agents like we do with flows or plugins.
You can't sneak them into another solution either.
Even Power Automate looked at this and said:
"Bro, that’s harsh."
Want to reuse logic across multiple agents without cloning yourself like Agent Smith?
Agent Flows might just be your escape hatch.
Build once. Parvez forever.
(More testing needed—but hey, it’s hope.)
💡 Tag a friend who’s just found this out the hard way.
Or better yet, tag Parvez. He deserves the credit. 😎
